New week, new watchlist. With the Fed hike last week and the 10-year sitting above 5%, I’m watching how rate-sensitive names behave — utilities, REITs, and small caps especially. Also keeping an eye on oil with everything going on in the Middle East.

Watching /ES reaction at the open Monday. Friday’s close was heavy and I want to see if buyers step in early or if we flush first. Also watching crude — a breakout above recent highs changes the whole inflation conversation again.

Mostly watching from the cheap seats this week. My dividend payers don’t move much on Fed weeks, but I’m curious whether the 10-year holding 5% pulls money out of utilities. Might be a buying opportunity if it overdoes it.
