    I’ll share mine: in 2022 I kept “buying the dip” on a darling tech stock all the way down 60%. My lesson — have an exit plan before you enter, not after you’re underwater.
    What’s the lesson that cost you the most?

    Averaging down on a small cap that was halted. Twice. The lesson: the market can stay irrational longer than my account can stay liquid. Now I honor my stops like they’re legal contracts.

    Mine was position sizing. Had a “can’t miss” setup, went way too big, and it missed. One trade wiped out two months of gains. Now nothing risks more than 1–2% of the account. Boring, but I’m still here.
